The biggest barrier to effective networking isn’t your skills, it’s what’s in your head before you walk into the room. This module separates networking from Netsocializing (showing up without a plan), identifies the comfort zone that’s been holding you back, and gets your mindset right so the rest of the course actually works.
Ten people in your category compete for the same customers. The one who gets picked is the one a customer can describe in a sentence, and feel something about while they’re saying it. This module helps you define what makes you genuinely different and build the personal brand that travels with you to every event, post, and conversation.
If you can’t describe your ideal customer in detail, every networking event becomes a waste of time. This module shows you how to use AI to build a sharp customer profile in minutes, and then how to use that profile to find the exact events where those customers gather.
The networkers who get the most out of every event aren’t the smoothest talkers. They’re the ones who showed up knowing who’d be in the room and what they wanted to accomplish. This module is all about the 30 minutes of work you do before you walk in.
Elevator pitches are cold, stiff and emotionless. Value statements lead with an emotion that starts relationships. This module teaches you how to introduce yourself in a way that makes people lean in instead of looking for the exit, and how to use AI to draft, refine, and shorten your statement to any length the situation calls for.
Not every networking event is worth your time. This module helps you choose the right ones, set goals before you arrive, work the room with intention, and walk out with the outcomes you came for. It also covers the FORM method (Family, Occupation, Recreation, Motivation), the question framework that turns small talk into real conversation.
The 1-2-1 is where networking actually pays off. This module covers how to ask for one on the spot, how to run a great meeting, what to do in the 24 hours after, and how to conduct an effective 1-2-1 over Zoom when meeting in person isn’t possible.
You have more than one network. You’ve got personal, family, college, work, church, recreation, and each one serves a different purpose. The most successful networkers build multiple networks intentionally and stay connected to the people in them over time. Building a network is only the first step; nurturing those relationships is what sustains and grows your connections. This module shows you how to follow up effectively, stay top of mind without being pushy, and turn an ever-growing list of names into the kind of network that solves problems and creates referrals for years to come.

Client Testimonial
“I only worked through a few modules of Sara's course, but even taking it à la carte, it provided real, usable value. Module 5 ("Use a Value Statement, Not an Elevator Pitch") genuinely changed how I open conversations, helping me build an authentic value statement instead of a recycled elevator pitch. Her coaching on pivoting that pitch depending on the room also helped ease my nerves. Modules 9 and 10 built on this by turning networking into a practical system, offering clear ways to continue nurturing those relationships afterward through tools like newsletters.”
